I have no argument I have an Opinion.
In my opinion BF2 is the best online game ever. I like the fact that anyone can kill anyone and don't like vet players steaming about pwning new guys.
Only last night i went mental because the team i was on was invading a red circle area. I am Not looking for an easy game or for stats i am looking for an all out war game where mobs of guys steam about shooting the bejesus out of everything.
The one reason i have played solo for over 1300 hours is because i like a Battle Not a one side clan server whitewash.

As for the stats i like them and many others do aswell and i believe it's the stats that have kept the game going at the rate it is. Those honest players like me have just played the game and picked them up as and when earned.
The spirit of the game remains throughout all the patches and still remains a year later.
I have a feeling you expect to pwn everyone at every time you play and that is what is bothering you. Well i don't mind being killed by a complete noob at all. I may hunt him down for a revenge kill but the banter had whilst i play is all light hearted and fun.
Personally i like to Big up the things i enjoy and spread the love.
Negative karma is Not cool.

now this is something i have to agree with, BF2 is by far the easiest game to simply pick up , play and master
dont get me wrong thats a good thing as new players are not discouraged, they might get spawn raped etc, but that can be avoided
new players to Quake or CSS will get killed far too easy over and over and probably quit it for good..

anyone who played the tribes series of games will understand what true skill is and no doubt find BF2 and 2142 easy, which i do

No offence but CSS isn't complicated at all. Its repetative as well, all it is, is small maps, shoot, kill, die etc. Its not like you have a lot to consider, Quakes slightly different you need skills with the rail gun, aiming etc. BF2 you have lots to consider, you telling me your an expert in the Jet, helicopter, gunning, sniping, every gun etc?

Hmm well BF2 is skillful depending on the circumstances, such as 2 v 2 heli battles, both pilot and gunner have equal jobs to do, pilot needs to evade the enemy gunners tv missile vice versa. Not only that I played in private games with clans such as team war child, thats skilled to be honest, there was no grenade spam or anything like that just all out guns and playing as a team. Stacked teams affect a game a lot as well. I don't like having a useless team to command which happens sometimes.

Since my first online game was SOF2, you obviously get better, that game imo requires some of the best reflexes in a game along with accuracy and movement. But reflexes are a major part tbh. If you can shoot someone before they shoot you, getting a headshot before they get you, dodging their bullets and killing them thats skill. SOF2 imo has one of the or the best actually hit boxes I've played, BF2 has a problem with bunny hopers being hard to hit because hit boxes are all over the place same as CSS.

let me explain, i play BF2 and i love it, i also play many other games but alas not competatively anymore
ive been there, seen it , done it etc, ran a few clans, owned a few servers from BF1942 to CSS and Tribes blah blah*owned as in paid/rented*
i therefore can comment on the above games with some degree of experience which you can choose to ignore
also, your implying that i have stated all BF2 players have no skill , wrong wrong wrong i agree there might be a few good players out there
lastly, tribes does require more skill and teamwork than any other fps

And yes I have been there done it too, so I can comment to some degree on all these games, which you can also choose to ignore, and in my opinion to play CS 1.6 at a high and competitive level takes more teamwork and skill than tribes. In my opinion.

@Macabre, i dont whore in tanks or planes on BF2 as i prefer ground pounding and dont care about e-penis stats
mastered all weapons ? whats to master, point aim shoot its a case of using the correct weapon in the right situation
J-10 ownage, yeah been there done that and its boring, but thats my choice, i fight on the ground.

as for counter-strike, your telling me a completely new player to fps would find it good fun to spawn, follow the team and die within 30secs, then have to wait until the round finishes ? CS is a harder game for a new player to get competant at than the battlefield series..
also i didnt say cs was complicated, so if your gonna quote me, read it first that way i dont have to correct you and were all happy, with no offense taken !

^Lol, no I didn't say a new player to fps just a player.

CSS wasn't difficult tbh I played CAL way back, when I played CSS for approx 2 months, in those 2 months around 16 hours in total according to my xfire anyway. I played like 8 v 8 against other teams in ladders etc, it was easy enough tbh. Terrorists I would choose the kreig or the AK the CT I chose the M16 or the Bulldup. And usually deagle for side arm.

Now I didn't play it extensivly at all no, mainly because it got too repetative for me, round after round, shoot kill etc yawn. But thats just what I thought anyway. Either or though, not bothered oppinions, oppinions. Im not going to argue with you all day, you have yours I have mine, case closed.

i couldnt get into css tbh, i only played pub games or with clan members and usually got my slender ass handed to me,
their skill level was insane tbh

I love playing quake 4, fear combat, graw, css, coj, prey and cod 2. BF2 was easy with my old anthlon xp 1gb ram and 6600 128mb low frames and a tonne of lag.

You say it is easy and all i have said is it is only easy when played with your mates on your own server or a clan server set up.

It does take skill to play it end of story, I fail to see why you keep saying it requires no skill. Quake 4, played it the only requires skill in aiming if your playing in a good team, other wise its a rocket fest which I can't be bothered with. Fear combat I don't really see the "skill" needed, I mean I won in a 20 player match, you want to know how I won? I ran around doing melee kicks, racked up around 50 kills and like one death, yes fear is a great game but I and others can do that all day but its not really skill, I did it for a laugh tbh, I've not played FEAR in a while so I don't know if its that competitive yet, it has the potential to be but most servers I went into there was a gathering of the almighty sprayers. GRAW, played that too not competitivly, just as playing and it is good and does take teamwork to achieve many things. CSS already explained that previously, prey theres no multiplayer servers I came across LOL. COJ? do you mean COD? if so yes that takes skill, in COD 2 for example aiming is a major factor.

FEAR the almighty sprayers?! skilled players on Fear own sprayers as G2A2 is pants except if you are close or at a distance using burst fire On FEAR COMBAT I nearly ALWAYS use pistols and unarmed attack. That games rocks!!

BF2 used to be fun I posted my account proving that I used to play a lot and died mostly through tanks and arty WOW how fun? Even if you do find it fun it does not make it skillfull.

Not sure m8, but the one im talking about which is:

Bought it when it came out, 2002. Ace game, still play it. Probly my favorite game I mean its never got boring or anything, still loads of players. I played everything on it, modded it as well, weapon mods, maps, skins etc. Great game.
