BF3 Beta FPS thread

What CCC settings do people use? I turned off AMD Optimised Tessellation and I think it made a difference. Any thing I should definitely turn on/off?

Unfortunately if you still have the Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H motherboard then it's not SLI compatible.

Unless you can get an SLI hack to work you can't use SLI.

i7 2600K @ 4.5ghz
Corsair Vengence 8GB DDR3 @ 1866mhz
P67A-UD4-B3
Gigabyte 560ti Super OverClock

All maxed out at 1920x1080 40fps min outdoors,
In doors around about 60-80fps.

That's just killed me off i've only just bought this card too :(

If you bought it mail order (not in an auction), and have had it less than 7 working days, you can send it back for a full refund under the Distance Selling Regulations.

Your motherboard does support Crossfire but the second PCI-E slot only runs at x4 speed which can have a big performance hit.

45-55FPS Indoors , 55-85FSP outdoors.

To my mind, it plays better than BFBC2, I love that I can finally go prone!

Its not BF2 nor BF1942, I can't help feeling its moved away from that classic gameplay style, looks & feels more like COD.

"Above & beyond Call of Duty"? Not sure yet.

Q8300 2.5Ghz (Had to knock my 3Ghz oveclock on the head, seems BF3 did not like it) 4GB DDR2, Foxconn P45AL, GTX480.

Everything set to "As high as it'll go" @ 1680x1050 (due to monitor limitations) Runs well, very happy with performance.

GPU: 480
CPU: i5 2500k at Stock
Resolution: 1920x1080
Average FPS: 40-50
Driver version: 280.26 (not the latest drivers basically)

Have downloaded the Beta Drivers and will see if that gives me a chunk of performance increase.

Settings are on 'Ultra'

Settings on high, res 1920x1080 getting between 40-50fps with vsync either on or off on sig rig

At least we have reason now to upgrade, this doesn't have the feel of a console port for a change [y]

Strange, I have a similar setup (GTX 570, 2500k) but I stay constant at 60FPS.

have you still got the video settings on auto?

No, I maxed everything up to ultra IIRC. My resolution is 1920x1200. I'll take a screenshot if you want. I'd say try playing with the anti-aliasing. As has been said already here it may be worth it to tone those down (you won't see much difference), which I have done too so maybe that's the difference.
I think the real test will be the final game, hope the 570 and its 1 gig of VRAM will be enough to really max things out (then again I am not too bothered, it'll still look great).
