How can we tell if the beta is DirectX 11?, becuase it's on Ultra?.

If someone has a rig that can handle higher settings with high fps and they reduce the settings to increase visibility, that's pretty pathetic.

I can get it for tournaments maybe, but for pub play, it's pathetic.

same here getting high fps with i5 2500k o/c 4.0 and a 580

My 6950 and 2500k doesn't get near 40fps average on Ultra, never mind with 8xAA. I get around 30-35fps with the Ultra preset.

I find this odd really, the guy above with a 580 and 2500k says he gets just over 40fps and sometimes 80fps (i guess in the underground section). I mean, the 580 destroys the 5850, so I dunno how people are getting ~40fps average on mid-range cards when people on high end cards are just scraping past that.

Probably, but even still, a card that is faster than a 5850 should yield better frame rates even if its unoptimised

I have 70-140FPS with everything as high as possible on my setup @ 1920x1200. I would have thought the 6950 would do better than 30-35, is your card the 1gb or 2gb and is the 30-35fps inside as well as outside?

Settings: Ultra, Antialiasing Post - Medium, MSAA - x4

I did try the latest beta drivers 285.35 the other day which claim up to 38% increased performance but my fps actually went down!

Can people please restart their game after changing their settings so that they actually apply. Can they also post their driver version. Thanks.

8 Gig RipJawsX 1600MHz
Asus Maximus IV Extreme
Corsair Hydro H100 (Push Pull)
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6990 (Stock speeds but fan at 65%) 11.10 driver

Ultra settings getting from 70 - 130
Seems to drop below 100 if i am snipping from a tower.

Tested with a number of benchmarking tools and showing the same give or take 5fps
