The 2 have always been different. As a pure test of skill I think cod always had the edge, but not post bf3, a kill is a kill on hardcore now. For me personally Battlefield has been the more enjoyable to play for some time , as cod just became too frantic. You couldn't pick up your mug of tea without getting shot. I like to become immersed in the atmosphere, and you just can't do that when you're straining your senses to survive all the time. The single player is always good though. I might buy mw3 one day when it's cheap, but then again, probably not.
