BF3 vs MW3

I own both BF3 on PC and MW3 on Xbox 360.

I can understand youngsters (people below 17 years of age) preferring COD to BF but anyone older that does then I have to question their sanity, because in practically every conceivable way (in terms of the multi-player element) BF3 is more enjoyable and an all round better game.

For me, BF3 is what you would expect of a next gen game, whereas COD is still stuck in the last generation. I'm not saying BF3 is perfect because it's not, far from it in fact, but the engine is far superior to COD and game style much more varied. When the Back to Karkand maps arrive the gap will increase even further.

Call of Duty; A great series turned into a point and click arcade game using recycled material. I'm glad I am a battlefield player.

If/when the Xbox 3/PlayStation 4 surface, I'll be very interested to see what they do with the COD franchise. I expect they'll put "next generation" on the front of the box, and EVERYTHING ELSE WILL BE THE SAME

Anyone who thinks MW3 is better is a fool, maybe a few years ago the game would be acceptable, but now it's just old and boring, same ****, different title.

If these types of fanboys were about long ago, we'd probably all still be playing pong.

Im a CoD player.... who has converted to a Battlefield player. CoD has nothing on BF and those who disagree obviously are just CoD fanboys like i used to be... And to the person saying its Battlefield : call of duty... your a retard.

It doesn't need to upgrade. It runs fine on the consoles so thats a done deal. The engine will not get over hauled until a new gen of consoles is out. Both games are good but like bf3 better. I get bored of cod very quickly but its great for mindless tdm fun. SP is cod's bread and butter despite the mp, its the sp that has brought in all the crowds.

MW3 has actually come a long way from MW2 on the PC,

There is now a dedicated server browser and multiple graphics options including SSAO and DOF and multiple texture qualities

EA might have shipped 10 million copies on day one but sold 5 million copies over the first WEEK.

As far as I can find no reliable sales figures for Modern Warfare 3 have been published yet. But I think it's safe to assume it will beat Black Op's record of 5.6 million DAY ONE SALES.

Some of the finest books ever written did not become mainstream, does that mean that they are inferior?

The fact that COD will win the sales ratings is just a sad reflection of the intelligence levels of our youth.

I wish the majority of battlefield 3 players actually played this way, in reality cod becomes an attractive option because you don't have to rely on idiot teammates.
