I own both BF3 on PC and MW3 on Xbox 360.
I can understand youngsters (people below 17 years of age) preferring COD to BF but anyone older that does then I have to question their sanity, because in practically every conceivable way (in terms of the multi-player element) BF3 is more enjoyable and an all round better game.
For me, BF3 is what you would expect of a next gen game, whereas COD is still stuck in the last generation. I'm not saying BF3 is perfect because it's not, far from it in fact, but the engine is far superior to COD and game style much more varied. When the Back to Karkand maps arrive the gap will increase even further.
