Budget wheels arrived for this build. Black brakes and stem also here. Just waiting for the cranks and it's ready to paint and screw together :D

It looks 1920's American in style. The tyre looks like it came off a tractor, not a bicycle. Are Morewood ok with you giving them a re-brand? lol If you sell anything other than Morewood then you would have to re-brand your Co. The colours and graphic in the middle are really nice. :)

I've asked the guy to remove the Morewood reference :)
He's cleaning it up as well, but I like the look of it.. 1920's america looks African to me :)

Hmm, I rather like that font - I'll see what V2 looks like.

Saracen Ariel 160mm and updated colours

Revision 1 of my logo - what do you guys think.

I rather dig it

The morewood font looks like 1940s film or cartoon style. Not my taste.

To me, tyres are possibly the least exciting part of a bike so the tyre feature does nothing for me.

Needs more colour - When I think of South Africa I think of bright colours.

I like the font for the main title and like the centre graphic.

Overall, it just doesn't work for me. Sorry :(

Needs to be more basic for me. How would you put that on a businesss card?

It just doesn't scream bike shop to me which I'd want my logo to do.

what happens if you don't do morewood? I know a shop round here got dropped by trek...that would be weird unless you are south african or something?

He is south african :p

It looks like the logo from a 1950's american mechanics who specialise in (motor)bikes with that tyre, I like the style but the tyre needs a lighter profile.

think i might of found a bike! At last! What do you guys think of this bike? and also could you tell me what year this bike is? The seller said it was a Specialized Hardrock but didnt give any more info. also, what would you upgrade if you bought this bike?

thanks :)

bike looks alright, hardrocks are pretty much bomb proof but give the frame a good check over anyway, look for cracks at the welds etc etc. size wise at 5'8" a 17" is spot on i reckon.
oh what to upgrade? whatever wears out first i guess, i'd also change tyres and saddle to what i like.

Supercow, i hope you dont mind but i messed with the logo a bit and came up with this:

Personally instead of the brown background colour i would maybe go with the SA flag colours?

Don't mind at all mate - I like it :)
The dude's come back to me with this - I didn't mention the tyre to him, he decided it wasn't working

The "Buckinghamshire bit at the top is just placeholder while we decide what to go in there.
