I thought the Hayes Stroker Ryde didn't use a spring as the pads where retained by magnets?
They changed it. New versions have spring clip, old versions have magnets.

The head tube is only 4" high. Coupled with a zero stack headset I could in theory cut the steerer down to something crazy like 140mm.![]()
