Yeah its a pretty good looking bike imo. Looking forward to riding it at the weekend whatever the weather brings. Too fed up of not being able to ride my roadie! :)
 
It's strange because a lot of mtb'ers get ROAD bikes to ride in winter whereas you've done it the other way round :p There's good sides to both conditions I think it's just as fun sliding around in the slop :)
 
Lovely bike, the Reign was on my shortlist. Really like Giant bikes, which reminds me;

New bike pretty much finished for now, got a 70mm OnOne ultralight stem sitting on my desk to fit, awaiting the Nukeproof warehead 800mm bars ordered yesterday and X9 rear shifter.

Will probably get new QR's for the wheels and seat post, new grips, headset spacers, etc, just to improve the look a little more.

Might even get some new wheels, reckon the EX729 rim and xt hubs are probably quite heavy (from 2006 too, so getting on a bit now). Will have to wait a while though, I've kind of got carried away with the spending, was suppose to just be a £300 raw carbon frame, ended up going for the £400 painted frame and revelation RLT forks and the bits mentioned above.

Sorry about the poor location, back garden to my new house, spent the fixing the house money on bike stuff

Right how common is it for bike shops to have a Headtube facing tool? The only 2 i know of in Donny dont have one at all, local independent giant dealer says hes never needed one so wont buy one, and halfords (i know i know) want my bike for 1-2 weeks while they get the facing tool sent from one of the other stores? - Crazy, now on a crazy hunt for a shop that can do within decent traveling distance and hopefully on the same day. Im about ready to chuck the whole bike in the skip its doing my nut in.
