Sounds like a plan mate. Maguras are a pain in the arse, got the bleed kit at work for doing them though(mate had them on his GT).

Not sure if he will do it mind you.

When i had my maguras they were a pain to bleed. I got the bleed kit kicking around here somewhere but no fluid. You can have it for the cost of postage if i find it.

Do you guys rate Deore hydraulics?

I put some on my bike on Friday and they feel better than the Hope minis I used to have a few years back - have discs matured recently?

Yea they are a very good entry level brake. My mate uses them in his hardtail for downhill racing and has had no problems. My hopes have been crap compared to them

Built this up yesterday.

Dr Jekyll Identiti Frame
Pikes
Hope Pro 2 Hubs in Red
Halo Tornados in White
Black Spokes with Red Nipples
Hope Headset in Red
Azpnic Stem in White
Tempory Tioga Handlebars in Black
Red ODI Lock Ons
Black and Red DMR Seat
Grey Michelins
Single Speed DMR
Tempory XTR Front Cranks.

Looks stunning in the flesh and rides sweet. Will be fitting Hope Mono Minis with Red floating rotors and goodridge hoses when they come in..

What you guys think?

I've got a set of 525 Deores. Just upgraded the front rotor to 180mm and had my first attempts at bleeding hydro discs. All manner of crud came out of the back brake - feel has improved but they could still do with a bit more bite so will have another look. Very reliable and hassle free otherwise - changing pads is easy.

Nice dr J. I was gonna buy one at some point and fire some Z150s on it but changed my mind and ended up with an xile with manitous :P not out of choice i think.

Good choice of hubs though :D
