Big Bike Thread

Was having thoughts of a Cotic Bfe once I get my money situation sorted. Ragley don't seem to be about as much and I don't fancy paying money to the ***** who can't make a frame that just works out the box(see booyakas posts).

I love the Shan but I can't see me paying more for a similar style of frame and I could be cool as by having a steel frame. Might even grow a beard.

Looking at the site I should be fine running the Rebas I have at the moment but will be at the steeper end on the head angle front.

Jonny: have you been helping Ichabod build his bike? Cos there are few bits missing. Have a look at the tyres too. He isn't very good at fitting tyres!

If oi helped build it he would have a kona project two rigid forks and hayes soles.

My bike would then have bos forks as in a ****ing boss. And real brakes too.

Looks even better in the flesh doesn't it :D

I figured out why the finish is called 'Stealth', it turns mud invisible :P This was after a muddy ride last weekend:

Didn't go cannock in the end went with the missus to hicks lodge in Leicestershire. More of a family trail but still got to have a go. Had a great time but really left me dying to try something a little more exciting. :)

Went to Cannock yesterday, pretty impressed. Busiest trail I've been to by a LONG margain! Good trail though.

What is the stile cop like for a beginner? Worth a try, potential to knock myself out?

Plus can anyone recommend anything else in the West Midlands here for the next 4-5 weeks and be nice to do something other than the Scottish trails.

Cheap accommodation, there somewhere to store bikes or they go in the wigwams too? Off to see a surgeon later this month about my knee so hopefully know then if i can go.

There is a storage container on the site, but most people leave the bikes locked in cars over night, we usually have enough cars/vans to do this between us.
