thats odd then, i use avid adapters (203mm post to post front and 185mm IS to post rear) on my m4's and they make full contact.
daft question, do you have any spacers/washers in there?
Any pics? Just checked and my back disc does not line through with the top of the pads either, the front does though. Bike still stops![]()
You can see here where the pads are missing the disc.

The bit at the top of the fin I take it? Flash reflection obscures it a little![]()
Could you put a spacer on the top screw and lift the caliper up a little to get full coverage?

Frame is indeed an 04. The retro was a bit tongue in cheek, but everyone in here changes frames every five minutes so anything older than 2011 is retro hah![]()

Ladies and Gentlement, I'm after a bit of advice here. I'm looking to buy a bike to ride around some of the footpaths near me. Last bike I had was one of those cheapish ones that you just ride to your mates and back. Been looking into getting a mountain bike as I cannot see myself riding on roads to much. Estimated budget of up to £500 as I intend to use it regualy (maybe more if needed). Any advice or help on picking something would be greatly appreciated!
