Cassette doesnt even need to match, i use sram rear everything, shimano front everything and sram shifters.

I presume as long as the shifters, mech and cassette are matching (i.e SRAM) the crankset/chain can be shimano or anything basically?
Do you stock them? Sold any yet?
Im craving a HT bike think i would go 2x10 on that and build it up light and for xc/trail centres.
The only two things that need to match are the rear mech and its shifter.
We don't stock small items, only order to build onto custom builds.
We're "kinda" opening a bricks & mortar shop, so it gives us access to brands and items we wouldn't usually be able to, they will be stocking small parts.
Only hardtails we sell are the Shans, but the shop sells Ragley and the like (we are all big into steel HTs). The Shans only 2 frames left until May/June (med and large), though I'm not sure that's what you're after.
Maybe wait for an independent review from a UK based site / magazine to gauge whether it's for you?
Chop mtb (MBUK) got the demo we sent them last week and will be reviewing it soon.

Thats not strictly true sram attack and rocket work with shimano. Its a good idea to go by that rule though to avoid any incompatability.
But the convention is the actuation's are not compatible.Keep looking at the on one 456 either carbon or ti, its still only an idea though it may not happen at all.
Love the orange and black Shan!! That's sweet!!!

Not as good as blue and orange![]()

everyone knows that black and orange is 4.359249182% faster![]()
Rubbish black absorbs light and so must be slower.
