I've seen people with the new ones already so they should be there :\.

What colours is the newer one and do you know what is the spec changes?

Even the Specialzed site is still showing the 2006 version.

I'm colourblind but I know ones red lol, so you'll have to ask evans about that, but they have shimano instead of sram now, and I think they have different brakes too.

Some people have been able to get the 2007 catalogue from their LBS's so it might be worth a visit.

Edit, wait a sec, are you after the Hardrock or Rockhopper?!

I've just bought one of these, a Fisher Paragon 29er. I'll update this post with an appropriate picture asap :)

Hmm, now I'm confused  lol

They said there are some 2007 bikes out, but only the kiddies range....

You sure you haven't got confused with the 2005 edition? There is a red in that, and 2006 only comes in Blue and Silver.

Nah, these weren't the old range (I hope ;)) and I've seen the new Spesh catalogue in some bike shops too. I'll call some people and maybe get an eyetest ;).

Looks rather tasty :D

Taken it for a splash yet?

Only just put on the pedals, then i gotta sort the insurance....THEN i can take it for a ride! Can't wait. Should be this evening.

Went to my local bike shop (Geoff Wiles - very good) for some Shimano pedals that have standard grip one side and clips on the other.

Very pleased though :D

Arrived at last! :)

Nice :D

you'll be able to count on one hand the number of people with Rock Lobster's

I get stopped when out riding by other riders wanting to have a look at my R L Team Ti - (Dont worry i've known most of them for years).

I was almost certainly going to get one of those until i test rode the Ti up at Merlin (Only 30 mins from me), and it was the lack of weight that won me over on the Ti. I live in Saddleworth (where EVERYTHING is at 45 Degrees :D) so i went for th lightest i could afford.

Enjoy it.

Thanks. :) This one is very light..much light than my previous one.

My insurance is sorted so i'm gonna go do the recommended 30-40 stops to wear the brakes etc then i'm gonna plan my route for this even and set off.

Gonna have to get me some proper cycling shoes too...the advantages of having them sounds like they're must haves.
