Depeding on the type of disc brake it might be easier to adjust the calipers position in relation to frame or fork
Took my gf up to Cannock Chase yesterday, fully expecting her to start moaning as soon as the going got rough. Turns out, she loved it! I took her on 3 of the ftd sections and rest was just riding around the chase. Im confident enough to take her away for a weekend of riding now.

I'm trying to get her interested, she has a bike but we live far apart so I'm not convinced she'll be hitting the trails with me any time soon

Am I allowed to put up a cheeky for sale post in this thread? I don't really see it getting any attention in the actual for sale section? If not i'l gladly put it there, but for the benefit of you all first Heh,
After 5 years and two Brooklyn Racelinks (The first unfortunately parting ways through scum and theivery) I've decided that it's time to move on. And much like a happy marriage, I should probably nip it in the bud whilst the going is good.
More unfortunate is how little riding this bike has actually gotten in the past 2.5 years, and I could probably count on a single hand how many times i've taken it to a track. It's done two weeks in France, but as you can see from the pictures it's in excellent condition (I'm only 10.5 stone and ride light as a feather, I hardly beat my bikes). It's the latest revision of the frame with the bigger downtube so will likely outlast your interest in the sport. Though if you know what you're buying I don't really need to go on about it being a Brooklyn.
So £1400 gets you what you can see in the picture minus the forks, saddle, bars and stem. Frameset (Which includes the profile cranks, jackshaft system and built in chain device, and positively stunning Avalance DHS shock) FSA Pig headset, and Push seatpost. went for my first ride yesterday on my new bike, i fixed the break squeaking problem but have now found more things
when i peddal hard there is a kind of grinding noise coming from the pedals.
and sometimes when i try to pedal hard the chain jumps between gears and causes me to lose footing on the pedals and it hurts a bit too.
