The Vagrant looks ace! How dare you say it's unattractive! :p

Got myself a new Pro2 SP/Stan's Flow front wheel, and purchase of a rear planned after pay day this month. There's about 400g weight differrence per wheel between them and the Deemax I've got now. The only thing is they're not yellow :(

They may not be yellow but should be a whole better than the deemax's!!

Yeah they should let me go a bit longer without my legs turning to jelly from spinning them up all the hills and make the bike a bit more nimble.

Then I need to update the shifters, then brakes, then pedals.... ENDLESS EXPENSE!

LOL!

Now I wanna see a roadie win a MTB race - of any kind :)

reminds me of when an random nobody bmxer and part time mtber used his mates mountain bike and won the red bull rampage against all the pros

edit- Darren Berrecloth , seems he stuck with the mtbing...

6th, wtf... are you bordering pro or something? How long did it take you to tap out those 40 miles? Im assuming it was just a normal hard surface route? Roadie or MTB? Yes I know you have a hard one for MTBing, but I was wondering if you ever taste the other side?

On a side note, the loop this morning is coming down in time. More so if it wasnt for the hot weather. 10 minutes faster than 2 weeks ago :) lol

Getting to grips with the new bike, not going anywhere near the park at the mo as Crankworx is on and the village is heaving. Did a few of the lost lake trails the other day, enjoyable! Also went up to cheakmus lake, nice climb to get the blood flowing, some decent mellow tree runs...

Looks cool! where were you going?
Had just finished riding at my local ski resort.

Not sure what you mean, it was just an easy 40, took about 2hr30 which isn't bad through the traffic and lights which litter half of that route. As for the other side, I just ride bikes. Race and ride XC and endurance XC, ride FR/DH, road ride and commute. 5 hours of DH yesterday and I was going to do 100+ mile road route today but getting home from clubbing at 4am put a stop to that :)

New bits on the bike today. Uber thanks to my mate Doll who kindly gave up his Sunday afternoon to show me how the bits go on heh! :)

New SLX cassette, new KMC chain, new Merlin CNC ally chainset, new Aztec/Hope floating discs, new Deore rear hub (cor what a job that was). New chainset was my fav, the difference in weight is huge.

I Have them Chain rings on my XT cranks 45 quid for the set of 3 rings can't complain and I think they are unbranded KCNC.
