3rd? what happen to the other 2 ?

Actually i think i've fixed it, the cage doesn't look bent, adjusted the low screw a little, oil it a bit and the noise is pretty much gone...strange.

EDIT - still does it, but not as much. If I pull it, then zero noise.

EDIT no.2 - only 1 clog does it now....I am baffled.

its essentially a intense m1/intense uzzi dh hybrid. it was designed by intense for haro..and its also a dh world cup winning frame.

I havent been into downhill cycling in forever but I looked at your pic before the description and instantly thought of Intense. They had that frame with 8" of travel that was just phenomenal. But that was years and years ago with the mojo suspension combination. Ah the good old days. The days where 2.3" tyres were a BIG deal

So my mate has went for a clubroost dh8........pretty tatty looking but we're gonna spray it bmw le mans blue on the front and i say polish the aluminium rear end but he wants it glossy black.....

Im looking at getting a used, but in really good nic coyote dh8 with some junior T's. Since i used my brothers stinky i cant get used to my ht again. :(

yeah! :) when you look at it, every part of the frame is same as some intense bike somewhere. The rear triange is pretty much exactly like the m1 and the frame is based on the uzzi and some other 'bits'

oh and the linkage is obviously fsr :D

Just got some of these:

Man, I wish I moved to SPD's ages ago. Just been out for a ride (5k) and the difference is immense! Speed is much quicker, I can attack hills like linford christie and I feel so much more 'at one' with my bike.

Strongly advise people to give them a go!

Yer well make sure you can get out fast before you crank up the springs. Otherwise you're not going to be so happy about being at one with your bike when you wipeout or endo etc ;).

lol, I can just imagine it! 40mph log hop, wipe out and my bike strapped to the bottom of me tumbling down the hill!

Got used to it with snowboarding though, clipped in, 30mph wipe out and flung all over the place sliding down the slopes with a board attached to me. But a bike is much heavier

I have them set on the lowest spring rate and found it really easy to clip out. Is there a huge amount of difference with a tight spring?

You don't want it too loose, otherwise it could unclip whilst you're on it (unlikely unless your ankles wobble around) You're most likely to have a clipless accident at slow to stop speeds.

I noticed a bit of a difference, but nothing huge, although it's probably fine once you get used to them.

maybe, but it's a fast speeds where it's more of a danger to you.

Not really. If you have a crash you will unclip anyway.

Natural motion should make you unclip. Toe straps are worse as you'll still in, as it twists you'll twist the ankle. You should pop off clipless pedals.

It usually does but there are accounts of people not uncliping and getting hurt.
