Hang on.....didn't you just spent like £200 on new parts on it?

bars, brakes, wheels, mech, cassette, chain and shifter and a few other bits all over the last 2 months or so :p it rails too right now as ive been fine tuning everything over the past few weekends but its time for change :)

So......does my mate get a speshy bighit and put up with 24" back wheels, terrible tyre choice and dished wheels OR does he get a club roost Dh8 and hope that that it doesnt snap?

and em,sell my shermans for £160...a tenner more than a bought them for........and buy some zocchi's.....get a new frame.....fit my saint cranks n gamut cahin device.....sell my hfx9's to my mate for £20...buy new brakes.......rolling :D

Hi,

Got some new shoes! Mavic 717 rims, Hope Pro 2 hubs and some Panaracer Cinders 1.95. My bike now rolls so much better and more suited to my XC riding. The stock Kenda tyres were far to fat and heavy for my liking.

The difference these upgrades have made is amazing! Like riding a different bike.

Next on the shopping list is a pair of Time Atac's, some shoes, saddle, seatpost, stem..................... Isn't upgrading addictive!! :p

Gonna get it weighed today. Any guesses how heavy it is?

Cost £227 built from CRC.

Spotless as I clean it after every ride, I like to keep it looking nice.

Yes girly pink wheels! Lookes better in real life though.

ouch, is that including labour or did you fit it yourself?

I clean mine after every ride too, I keep my bike inside so it'll ruin the carpet if its muddy.

Including labour? The £227 included parts and bulding of the wheels if thats what you mean.

They are so much lighter than the stock wheels, massive difference.

Firstly, pictures no worky :p.
Secondly, get Shimanos over Time Atacs.

The 540's seem to give best bang for buck, they're pretty much an exact copy of the M959, but a lot cheaper. I use the M647's because they have a platform, but that's up to personal preference.

There's also a new XTR pedal, called the M970, but I haven't been able to try any yet, but they're the same formula as the 959/540/520's, just a bit better.

Yeh nice pink wheels...I have the same tyres, mine seem more red :\. Should have got the blue ones.

/breaks out the black paint to do a peaty.

Very nice Duradrum I like the pink + grey combination, would look even better if the frame was black. I think my rims are Mavic 317s they seemed very light when i was repairing my innertube last week.

I haven't used my bike for about a month because CRC havent had the stem I ordered in stock and the rubber on my Cinders has cracked between the main tread and the asb wall on the side, wtf :\.

Dammit, did a big jump today on my bike this evening and now the chain makes a funny noise when it connects with the clogs at the 4 middle clogs at the rear. The noise goes if i turn the pedal but pull the derailure out a bit, is there a screw to adjust that motion?
