the x-os are so nice compared to x-9 and i thort they were good. the non loss cable system on the x-0 means that as soon as you click the mech engages its lovely
notice the nipples on the spokes match the hub color lol. and dont forget the hollow pin chain
the brakes are possibly the best ive ever used had them on my old bike as well. bigger rotor on the rear on this. the power is immence the modulation is amazing. and the adjustment cant be beated tbh. they are also quite light
the lock they cut wasnt on that list it was quite an old one tghat they dont make anymore but was a gold rated lock. i have a kryponite new york d-lock thing about £60 then a cable thing to lock the wheels to it. meant to be the best combination
well im back from the lakes. it was amazing didnt really want to come home. went out for a ride with the locals and it got very dark. me and my mate didnt have lights so we were riding round a forest with some of the other riders behind so we could see where we were going. was a brilliant ride. much better than the ones we did by ourself because they knew all the little routes.
the bikes took a bit of a battering from the rocks wich are everywhere. slightly buckled front wheel which isnt to bad.
and i only managed to fall of once i was expecting more. rode over a mound onto some peat and the front went into it up to the forks. i went over the bars. luckily it didnt hurt as i had a nice sot landing.
i think it was probly better my friend had a hardtail but its so rocky up there the full sus gave a lot more traction specially on the climbs. i also didnt get quite as battered on the downhill sections
