Another noobyish question

My cousin's pedal snapped off his bike (I mean came clean off), Is there a way to reattach it or would he be better just getting a crap 2nd hand bike? The bike cost about £30 2nd hand a month or two ago

Exactly where did it break? The pedal itself or the crank arm?

Im not sure of this is allowed but can't see anything in the forum rules but if anyone would like to sponsor me for the following, by even the smallest of amounts, that would be awesome.

Doing the BHF Dark Peak Challenge on October 9th. I'm pretty far from fit so will actually be a challenge for me. :D

Just donated £2.00 :)

661 Filters and a pair of 661 Comp gloves ordered

Next on the list is a set of Continental Mountain King 2.2 tyres. They seem to get better reviews than the Maxxis High Roller XC's

They get good reviews. And were voted as a number 1 tyre in MBUK.
Bit pricey though.
I'm sure google will throw something up for you to read.

Just some photos of me in Morzine the past week gone.
I had to get a DH bike by Thursday as the COVE just didn’t prove to be fast enough. Still enjoyable though on any of the red runs.

Hire bike was a Santa Cruz Driver 8. 200mm travel :)

I rode The Lecht today.

Chairlift access Red DH run in the Cairngorms. The best way to desribe it is a Downhill BMX track. It's wide with lots of jumps, a few small drops, some doubles and tabletops all the way down the hill. No rocky sections at all. We had a look at the Blue route and there are some big gap jumps to the side. It's all a work in progress and it flows very well if lacking any technical sections or steep gradient.

Did the North Face Trail in Grizedale Forest last weekend. Was fantastic, my first proper trail and probably a bit beyond my abilities in places but loved it. Anyone know any similar in the North West?

Thanks :)

Check out the trails in whinlatter forest. There's a mixed bag of flowy xc and some jumpy stuff if you feel up to it.
