Nearly done my new build.. just need for the rear brake adaptor and disc to arrive.. excuse the crap pics, used my phone, in the shed, in poor lighting

Yes the brake cables are too long

...and I just discovered the expensive matching Ti seatpost I ordered which is about to be delivered is the wrong size :mad:

I'm getting withdrawl symptoms from not being able to get out on the road bike. The turbo trainer gets boring real quick, like.

So true and so boring.

Well just got back from my ride. -5.5c and my command post lever froze solid. Halfway round when I went to use it on a fast decent it went down but came straight backup. and then wouldn’t bloody lock.
So it was up,down,up etc.

Had to lever the cable bolt with an Allen key to break the ice. And was very thirsty at the end of an hour and half as water bottle was frozen solid.

Still good fun to get out.

hey andelusion, on the left side of the bar is a gizmo, with cable? running where? whats it do? not a fork lockout is it lol

So, I'm thinking about going clipless this weekend, getting some shoes and pedals. I've got a race on the 28th, reckon I can learn to not fall over every 2 seconds by then?

Did the first round in the 1 hour category, think I'll try the two hour one next. Not that I'm fast at all, just that I want to push myself a bit harder!

I will see you there then. I may do the 4 hour. Depends how fit im feeling.

edit - Just signed up to the 2hr. rather do 4 good laps thaN 7-8 slow painfull laps.

Just signed up to the 2 hour as well. I expect to come last but feel pretty accomplished all the same.

It's a switch that enables my warp drive, currently getting up to about warp 5.3, the new handlebars are a bit wide though so it's making it hard to maintain a stable warp field, Geordi is working on it.

I think it's about time I insured my 2 bikes (Spesh Enduro and Evil Sovereign).

I haven't worked out how much they're worth yet but they're both specced highly.

They are kept in an outside building.

Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Add them onto your household contents insurance (if you have already). It cost me an extra £15 for the Heckler valued at 3k.
