Household insurance is definetly the best way, miles cheaper and lot less clauses.

M&S home insurance are good, up to £4k you don't have to declare, its just covered.

Ta for the advice, will have a look into it :)

In other news..

Ichabod Crane was crying to me on MSN about my rubbish new bike pics, so I took some more today, still need the rear disc before it's done:

Can see the Blackspire inner guard and Stinger chain tensioner/guide here, no chance my chain is coming off.

Nice bike :)
Looks like your RD is stretched out; is your chain too short?

Cheers, well it's a short cage mech on the 34 at the back and 30t up front, I fitted it as per usual instructions (big ring front + back + 2 links) and it seems to shift fine throughout the entire cassette, tis nice and tight and doesn't move around much.

I think I need to adjust the pre-load on the Hardrock. I have tried firming it up (+) and softening it (-) but it seems to make no difference at all... How many turns would you say the fork has from min to max ??

When I turn it, it gets to about 1/2 - 3/4 turn and then has a double "click" sound.... Am I doing it wrong ??

Aye, it does look a bit stretched doesn't it! But if its running smooth then it should be ok. You could snap a lot of chains though. "The missing link is Andelusion" :p

Looks nice Andelusion, great colour scheme :)

I'm thinking of building up a long travel hardtail for next year (Perhaps a Ragley)

Just picked up an early Xmas present for myself, some 2009 Fox F120 RL's.

Unsurprisingly, they're SOOOOOO light compared to the RockShox Tora 318's they're replacing, should shave about 3 tons off the front end weight of my bike.

Pics to follow once they're fitted (although that will involve an IS to post mount Hope adaptor which I don't yet have...)
