It's true, how could you live with yourself after riding a brown (Specialized!!1) or a black bike.

How could you look yourself in the mirror?

How could you look your loved ones in the eyes, hmm?

HOW COULD YOU!?!?!?!?!? For the love of GOD!

My Rockshox Lyric forks have always had Domain stickers on it and I finally got hold of Slik graphics to do me new ones.

Told hiom to go with the "World cup colours" and he came back with this:

Hopefullly you bike guys can offer me some advice.

Would something like this

Be ok for riding this and road use?

http://www.greatnorthway.org.uk/pages/guide01.html

I'm desperate to get fit so with the eating right and long walks working well. I want something else to help the weight loss and I quite fancy cycling. Seems a shame to not use the path that's already there too.

Bike looks perfect for those paths (I have cycled some of them). Nice and easy going.

Yeap - it's Slik graphics, so they will be of the best quality.

^^ very nice!

Cheers, I like the fact he kept it very factory looking, but just with my colours I wanted.

I'm getting some front disc brake squeels when riding standing up. You know when your swaying the bike side to side when you pedal? That's when it happens.

I've not had a good look at it yet, but my initial thoughts are the cones on thw wheel are lose. Never had hydraulic disc brakes before, so is there something that could be causing it on them

This is my bike, had it a couple of years:

Guys. I would like some help. I know nothing about bikes.

I want to enter a duathlon this year so would like to buy a reasonable bike (max £300)
Preferably it would be one that I could ride off road too if needs be (can you get hybrid type bikes?)
Can someone spec me a suitable bike?

For Duathlon (with mild offroad) you want a Cyclocross bike. They are a manly version of road bikes with a higher top tube to allow you to carry the bike over rougher terrain, have slightly wider tyres and a tougher frame.

If you want to come last then look at second hand mountain bikes (slower and heavier) at £300. Else, look here:
