Be aware that you need disc compatible hubs to run disc brakes

Fully butted A1 Premium Aluminium frame with double ORE down tube for a lighter, more compliant and durable bike, with disc mounts for upgrading

I just presumed it was as, from what I can see its the same hubs as on the Hardrock Disc - http://www.specializedconceptstore.co.uk/Detail/9/hardrock/2011 HARDROCK
They could just be talking about the frame tho
How can I tell if they are compatible ?

£30 deore disc wheel pretty cheap but would work good

It's always hard to judge light brightness from a photo as it depends how long the shutter was open - 1/125 and it's all black, 30 seconds and it's daylight.U sure that's not a spotlight attached to your bike - that's some amount of light!!![]()
oh ****... I (read LBS) thought I could just replace the hubs on the original wheels with something like these - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=3986
What a royal PITA
Trust me not to just go for the disc version in the first place![]()

If I wanted an ' All Mountain' bike, I wouldn't be looking at 120mm trail bikes for a start. And that Focus nut cracker should be banned!![]()
Ermmm, just to make sure I'm not confusing myself..... I presumed an 'All Mountain' bike was suitable for cross country, trails, climbing etc, just not extreme jumps\steep downhill sections etc. Am I messing that up?
Bikes likes the Orange Five, Santa Cruz Heckler/Nomad

Got any examples of those for under 2k? Had a quick scan and they're looking a tad pricey!![]()
