ok back again, just picked up a nice Norco Bigfoot and bought some old DMR V8's for it
quick question does anyone know a Marzocchi servicer? for lack of better words, the fork dont feel as supple as a Marzocchi should lol
badly needs a new saddle too, the POS on there feels like it was made for a pregnant woman lol

2 miles into a 25 mile cycle and one of my Superstar pedals fell apart just after I had negotiated the busiest roundabout in Britain - the Haudagain. I could have been killed!!!!! :mad:

I won't be buying that Superstar pish again!

Not sure if they are still in warranty. I'll phone Superstar up tomorrow and see what they say. If I do get a replacement set they will be getting sold straight away.

I have ordered the DMR Vaults in black along with some lock on foam grips to make up for the weight gain. Fatty's bike got watch it's diet!

I just bought a set of Nano Tech flats from them as well... Seem ok so far except for the small amount of grease that, due to touching water, emulsified at the axle. Not worried as I guess its just extra grease that's there during manufacture...

Bit worried about them falling apart mind as I weigh circa 90KG

Scott - I am assuming by the pic that they slid off the end of their axle as opposed to the pedal snapping?

He'll just suggest you fitted them with a rock.

Have a look at singletrack if you don't get the reference. Lots of love for superstar on there but imo the sintered pads are ok.

Yes. The thread at the end of the axle lacks bite, that coupled with there only being a bushing at the other side and practically none existant seals is just asking for trouble. Maybe they would be fine if I only rode trail centers every week. :confused:
