Managed to get a mount made for the cam today, it looks a bit crude with using wood but it works

A related question (i seem to be full of them as of late), but how long does it roughly take to take out a minor buckle? my rear is out by about 4mm in one spot, if it gets any worse the tire will foul the frame..so how long would it take someone fairly decent in wheel building to do?

A good wheel builder will fix that in 2 minutes. Maybe 10 minutes if it is a really bad buckle.

Not long.
Could get it done in 10 mins if the shop isnt busy.

popped into the LBS, 10 mins later and £3 lighter wheel is straight and re-tensioned

New bars arrived today. Sunline V1s. Only slightly wider than the Eastons they are replacing but they look much nicer.

Just to wait for the new brakes to arrive. :cool:

Had the XTR shifters since the middle of last year. Everything else is XT.

Why no more SRAM? I just moved to twist shifters and they're the greatest thing I've put on my bike since I got new wheels.

I have Sram on the Blur. I am tempted to try the X0 half pipe on it. But I'm quite happy with the XT/XTR combo on the Heckler.
