DAMNIT, i was actually hoping you'd forget about that when I saw it.
I can however take a screenshot of Hill hip whipping that mahooosive gap on the north shore with Vanderham?

Meh, whipping a hip is easy.. i absolutely love Brendans section in this film.. Such a gifted rider!

Gutted!
When cleaning my bike and regular inspection, despite me actually taking care of this bike I find :

Need to get some advice on this, as it's in a fairly critical area! Hopefully some resin/lacquer and some helicopter tape will be enough. The scratch is about 3-4mm long and I reckon no more than half a mm in depth.

I've had a good look and it looks like a crack but thankfully? there's only that small nick in the larger section the remaining bit it looks like it's just the paint that has been removed.

At the moment im really struggling to get hold of a new decent entry-level MTB. I really want a Decathlon Rockrider 8.1, but unfortunately the German site doesn't ship outside of Germany. It may mean a car trip over the border to get one. With regards to other makes, where I live it's all horribly expensive compared to the UK (but then again everything here is really) and the choice mush less. I wish i'd have got a Commencal Combi Disc while they were still around. :(

Someone wants to sell me a Cannondale F3 2008 for £610, used but in good nick, but i've heard bad things about the Cannondale forks.

I doubt its a crack, cracks dont normally happen on a bit of tube. They are normally where its welded.

That looks like quite a good price, Reality Bites.

I sometimes go on that Ribble site and play around with the Bike Builder. The Gran Fondo is tempting me this year at the end of August when I am allowed to get a second bike on the C2W scheme.

Having said that, there are still loads of good deals to be had if you look hard enough on 2009/2010 models in other places, some with a better specced groupset than 105. Not that there is anything in the slightest wrong with 105, mind. :)

The Ribble Sportive looks yummy though it has to be said.

Ooh carbon repair is gonna be costly. I wouldn't ride it for now.

Thing is I noticed it after doing 15 miles around Rivington, and if the damage was done when I think it was done (February) I've done a fair few miles on it since then, but yeah I'm taking it into the shop on Monday to have it checked out.
