Love that Orca. I had one on my (very long) list of possibles a few months ago. Didn't get to test ride, not many dealers round here unfortunately. Not too sure on the aerospoke.....

Very few in the UK, it seems. I bought the bare frameset from someone that had imported it and built her from there. What did you decide on?

That's better!

I ended up with a Cervelo S1. I wanted something sprint focused rather than sportive focused.

In the new year I'll be looking to replace my alu commuter frame with something light, but relaxed for doing distances.

Spec me people!!

Need a new seat for my MTB
Need some new tyres (mainly on the roads/gravel paths at the moment) MTB - with some potential XC stuff later on

Nothing wildly expensive please!!

seats,
SDG Bel Air RL, Ti or Cro-mo.
Charge Spoon, again a cheap but still good and a more pricey version.
Fizik Gobi.

one of those should match your backside well.

tyres,
Specialized Crossroads Armadillo Elite.
they are heavy but they're awesome anyway, great on hardpack and roads just stay away form moisture heh a bit skittish over gravel too.
:)

out of those 3 the softest is the sdg and the fizik the hardest, my fave being the sdg. wtb "rocket and "pure" get great reviews too, i've not tried them though.

I missed getting a photo of me on it when I was there in 2008, I'll definitely get a photo of me this year. Although they're still clearing a lot of snow from the mountain so hope it's accessible :(

Would i be ok putting a smear of teflon grease on my handlebar clamp area? i think thats where the creaks are coming from, i think its because both surfaces are highly glossy and smooth...

if evenly torqed it should'nt make any noise i would think? might be the headset top-cap creaking on the stem if you've no spacer under it. so a smear there is good.

No torque wrench, but ive done them up in criss cross pattern several times, also it creaks with or without the top cap installed.
