Just to let you know a guy from there got back to me, they don't do heavier weight springs for them, but he's going to send me new rubbers free of charge, he reckons that it may have degraded. Said he'll send me two and if I cut one in half and stack it with the full size one it should make it a bit more suitable for my weight. Hopefully that'll help til I get some wedge for new forks.

Thanks mate :)

That mean you cant replace the springs in your current fork? At least you got something sorted!

Hitting Dalby forest tomorrow, so should be able to give it a good hammering.

2007 Marzocchi were good. The 2008 Marzocchi's were really bad when they first moved production to Taiwan. 2009's were bad, just not as bad. 2010's are

Do you have any experience with the '10 44's? As im in the market for new Forks as my 06 mx pro ones the stanchions have come loose in the crown and caused a few small cracks (dont ask how, even windwave are stumped)
Budget is around 250 ish and around 120-140 travel (well IC says i need 140 lol) and the 44 TST2 just about come into that range but TST hasnt been getting good reviews as of late.

My 44 tst2 09's feel good, not a smooth as my Reba Team dual air but very good.

Quick question in regards to pushloc.

I got a pushloc from a friend of mine, we are both running Rock Shox Reba Race 2009 forks, so i installed it but couldn't get it to work, so after him taking another look at his forks he figured that the lock out on his is sprung loaded. Obviously I could give it back and get me money back but would prefer to have the pushloc on my bike, would it be possible to switch the top part of the forks that holds the spring for the lock out onto my forks or would this not be worth it and to invest in another remote lock out tool for my forks?

Didn't realise they were racing...
How's racing on a Freeride hardtail panning out for ya?

lol good one, It’s a lot easier than my old enduro that’s for sure. I did manage to get 10th in open on a Gorrick race over a month ago. Also I did a 12 hour endure on it in May, some great single track but unfortunately very wet. I’m also doing the 24/12 in a few weeks after my Alps trip next weekend. Need to put all my XC stuff back on if it’s still in one piece.

I'm never buying 3T finishing kit again. Fitted a 100mm Arx Team stem two weeks ago and one of the bolts shears on the facing plate flush with the stem so I can't get it out. This morning I fit the replacement and exactly the same thing happens. First time inwas using Allen keys and the second time a torque wrench.

Very unhappy.

That's what you get for mentioning Whistler again... next time you mention it , your testicles or forks will fall off!
Sorry :( It's not even the most epic bike trip I've got this year, Augusts will be ^2

Sorry, just from what I've read and then so far with my 66.

The expense of changing internals probably isn't worth it. It's easy to convert a pushlock fork, you just unhook the spring...

No, really? ;)

Product recommendations and methods would be appreciated.

For de-greasing I use Muc Off. If you don't want to remove the chain to clean it then use a chain cleaning tool. Go for a decent one like the Barbieri as others just fall apart in no time. For chain lube use something like Finish line or white lightning.

Just what I wanted!

Thank you very much. :)

I'll have a look in the moore large catalogue to see if they carry spares for the forks.

Also. Anger at people who can't work out how 2009 bikes are old stock and we can't order more and that we can't discount 2010 bikes by 40%

WTB a time travel machine to go three weeks in the future! :o

Very very nice!

A proper TT bike 78 degree seat tube angle not a road bike with a clip on aero bar!

You gonna be doing triathlons?

Had a guy purchase a felt AR4 today which, apparently, is heavier than the same spec road bike but still ends up faster due to the aero. Surprised it makes such a difference :S
