used to get loads of punctures on maxis crossmarks, switched to specialized armadillo elite tyres and have had 1 puncture in 9000+miles and that was a mutant huge thorn-nail heh

next time it punctures slowly/gently run your fingers around the inside of the tyre until you find what caused the puncture and be reluctant to fit a new/fixed tube until you've found what caused it.

Why do people say pro3 hubs are designed for road wheels? mine are light MTB wheels and are specific sold as so. And stated on the hope website as lightweight race wheelset.

Nothing I really want to change/upgrade now, keep thinking I should get some 'proper' (lawl..) forks but they're working so well at the moment.

Only tried standard HH Base layers, they seam really good.

Don't let your mum iron them though !

Oh good, sounds ok then.

Used to getting stung on import tax from HK and USA, I've never ordered anything from within the EU apart from the odd Romanian mail order bride

Look like cast molding marks to me ?

If it has identical marks either side it is most likely going to be a manufacture mark, notice and flex/movement in them when you sit on the frame?

The bushings are completely shot so i can't really tell.

And I thought Specialized made good bikes.

Couple of sheets of newspaper

But I too get a cold stomach/chest typically, even with say a HH base layer, I tend to wear my gillet over the top.

Sounds like you need a colder rated base layer,

I tend to only wear HH "Dry" Striped crew and an Altura Night Vision jacket.

If its really cold I'll also wear a cycle jersey of some sort, but will normally tend to take my jacket off then as i'll get too hot.

I rarely get that cold as i'm fat ! it has its uses !
