Definitely! It's on my to buy list for sure!

You have "fat" on your to buy list ? :p

I have only ever worn a t-shirt and an old long sleeved Nike top (some ACG Dri-Fit top I bought years ago) when I go out (with shorts) and I never really had a problem with the cold. My fingertips get it as do my ears hence a pair of gloves and a headband thing (dont like my head to get too warm see)

What's the fit like they look sorta loose around the arms ?

Well they're not compression base layers though they are a tight fit in general like a base layer should be but the arms have plenty of length which are perfect for cycling posture/reach. Like I said they are warm and very comfortable. For the price you can't go wrong.

Looking for a cheapish base layer (fed up of getting a cold stomach) any recommendations???

I have a couple of these which are very nice, they fit well and the material is quite comfortable: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=18116

Keep an eye on Lidl special offers (think they're posted on the website) they often have bike stuff - I got 2 of their base layer tops a while ago (about £5 each I think!!?) and they do the job just as well.

BTW just back from my first ride with the Urge Endur-o-matic - very impressed. I basically forgot I had a new helmet as it's that comfortable (was wearing it all last night and I think it may have helped :D)

The front sweat pad is very handy, I'm a bit of a heffer on the climbs and my top tube usually ends up getting covered with drippy sweat (all times of year - ew I know), no chance here, the pad soaked everything up, no dribbling either whilst riding so it stayed out of my eyes.

In terms of cooling, I didn't feel my head getting uncomfortable/itchy/overly sweaty (than usual) and was out a good 3 hours, admittedly it's not the warmest type of year, but the fact that I basically forgot I had it on is a good sign :)

Just picked up my Boardman Road Team Carbon and I'm worried parts of the frame and fork have some delamination, which the owners book says is serious damage. But then I'm not sure if it's just the lacquer in parts, but I wouldn't know either way.

Anyone have any experience in it or know how to differentiate between the two?

Also, can anyone recommend any semi-decent pedals? Preferably relatively lightweight, and just standard (not SPD).

If its brand new from Halfrauds, SEND IT BACK, :p

If its 2nd hand Mmm refund ?

No idea about Carbon at all, is it ruff to touch ?

Ok, here's some pics. I've bumped the brightness and contract as it was quite hard to get it to show up in camera using only a desk light :p. What you guys think? Delamination or just not-amazing lacquering? The majority of the bike is perfectly smooth, glossy, deep black which is why these stand out in the light.

Im not looking at thermal base layers as such, although they would come in handy this time of year. I do want something thats windproof and short sleeved preferably????
