I also had an ace day riding. Although no time to stop and take photos. Was in the 'zone' today!!! 4 hours of single track :D

Ichabod - Man you look 'awkward' when you jump. I guess it takes time to get use to the balancing of the bike. I’ve only just learnt on my Epic. Mate said to me today "An XC bike should never jump that high" I tend to agree as there was an almighty thud with only 100mm of travel.

It's surprising what you can do with only 100mm of travel. I was doing 2ft drops today and not bottoming out the shock of the Blur. I wouldn't like to do much bigger though.

First proper MTB since November today. It was great to be back in the woods

Haven't posted this for a while, currently 1x9 with my SS cranks, needs a chain guide though.

Looks like the lower castle at Rivington.

I usually go up top just for the race down, takes me ages to get up there though and a few minutes to come down.

Yep, thats the place. Which way do you usually come down? Went up to the Pike twice on Friday and up to the mast once.

From the top tower i come down the left side, then along to the pidgeon tower and down the main track to the main barn.

Torch - you will love 66s, i have the 66ata on mine.

Had a great ride at Cannock yesterday, first time I've got round the full course without my legs failing and my lungs rupturing.

I smoked for 14 years but gave up on Jan 1st - I've been struggling until now but since biking to work and doing road miles at weekends on skinny tyres my fitness is finally getting there!

I came off on one of the new black sections, was heading towards a tree at full speed and somehow managed to get off the bike in time. My shiny white Fox forks took the hit and they now have a nice bark coloured scar on the legs, and on the inner legs too :( I escaped with a hooning bruise on the inside of my leg.

New Carbon 456 has arrived!!!

- unfortunately - it's at my parents as I'm heading away for the week on holiday with the family in about 10 mins!!!! boo hoo!

Much pictures next weekend once unboxed !

The Tracer2 should be with me on Wednesday (pending swingarm and seat post checks :p). This is going to be the longest 2 day wait for me....IN THE WORLD!

:D

All the parts are here so as long as there are no surprises then yeah. Build Wednesday night, riding Thursday night. Friday morning/afternoon. :D
