Depends what model they are, but most twist-shift systems are separate from the actual rubber handlebar grips - in which case it's very easy to change.Hey just after some advice.
Just bought my lad a bike off the bay (Raleigh Max 6 Speed 20") and it's got the twisty grip gears.
They are a bit scuffed at the end and ideally id like to replace both grips. Is this easily done with the twisty grip gear system thingy?
Did you build it up or is that off the shelf?
What about Kona? They used to do a HT with a heavier frame although I am not sure what they do now.
The lifetime warranty is a good shout!
Anyone here owned an EPX Terrashark?
Cool, cheers. Did you get it direct from Orange then? Were the forks part of the upgrade package?
Yeah I've been pondering a Five for a while now, it's one of many options. I keep changing my mind! If I went with the Five then I'd likely just buy the frame then build it up - just wasn't aware you could fiddle the spec of the full bike if you bought direct from Orange.Yes the forks are the 32 Talas version which means I can adjust the travel from 110mm to 140mm. Ideal for the climbs. Very good forks but extremely costly.
You can spec the bike if you visit there website, are you thinking of one yourself?
I'm assuming Oh mY GOd My Eyes ?
Either way, the "bike" (I use the word bike very loosely here) needs a mallet
