I was using 34 - 22 today so Ichabod Crane could keep up with me. :p

Had a quick shot of his Tracer2. It's a seriously nice bike. Can't wait for mine to come.

Anyone any experiance with the Truvativ HammerSchmidt chainsets, they look like a brilliant idea to have all the benifits of a double chainset and a single one at the same time.

I used one on a demo bike at Dalby forest a few weeks ago (Transition Covert).

They're pretty cool, lots of ground clearence, instant (and I mean instant) shift on the front, you can also change gear without pedalling, it looks very clean too, and can benefit some suspension designs where pedalling in different size front chainrings affects pedal bob.

However they're very expensive, quite heavy even compared to a 2xX plus bash setup, and more moving parts is just more stuff to go wrong. I'd like to use one for a while longer but I don't have any problems with my 2x9 or 1x9 setuipts.

Luckily I couldn't see Ichabod Crane's legs. He had his signature long socks on! :p

I weighed Ichabod Crane's Tracer2 - 32lbs. Almost 10 lbs heavier than my Blur!!!

Just ordered one of these sexy (imo) hardtails. Its a 2010 Commencal Ramones 1.

My first bike in 7 years! Before I had another hardtail that i used for dh and jumping but it was stolen in my last year of school.

Hope i can still ride, and ride better!

Here you go - new bike porn!:D:D

apologies for the crap pics - better ones to follow!

Need to work out how to set up the forks properly (got free shock pump with bike)
Set brake levers properly
It's currently naked of any decals - got some white 456 and on-one decals but quiet like the naked carbon look.
A couple more red bits of bling to follow - seatcollar and QR levers
Switch my seat over (SDG Bel Air)

Should I set the forks with about 1/4 to 1/3 sag when sat on the bike??

Also weights in at around 11.9kg :D(using bathroom scales)

Long shot but a friend has just had his week old Specialized Secteur Elite 2011 Road Bike nicked from inside his house :(

If anyone hears of one going suspiciously cheap in the Didsbury area it would be appreciated.
