How come? Have you ridden one? If I could have gotten the new Enduro frame frame-only then I'd definitely have bought one, they get nothing but great reviews.

He doesn't want the Burberry of mountain biking :p

Looking at the specs the Meta 6 seems to come out on top, but best getting a seat on them all see how they feel too.

What about the Santa Cruz Butcher D AM Bike 2011

I presume the "orange" graded section (Runway Freeride) @ Carron Valley is nothing majorly wild! jumps if you want or rollers of you don't?

Might head up on Thursday/Friday for a jaunt.

Aye, the freeride section is kind of like a tame version of spooky wood, in that it's fast and flowy but not as technical. Everything is rollable or has chicken runs so its easy enough.
We're possibly going up friday evening around 6.30 if you want to join us?

I can understand why some people avoid Specialized as its seen as common but I just can't get to grips with people that avoid what is reportedly one of the best AM bikes around simply because "its a Specialized".... its just nuts IMHO

Personally I would bite your hand off for one of these

I've got a Spesh Pitch at the moment and it's a great bike, I've got nothing against Spesh and I'd get another in a heartbeat, I don't want an Enduro simply because they make me get a little bit of sick in my throat every time I look at one :p

The Butcher looks lovely, I always thought they were a lot more expensive than that - a contender appears!

Had a cracker of a ride round Loch Muick today. Some of the switchback singletrack is the best I have ridden. It was like being in the Alps. :D

Pals camera broke just before the ride so had to resort to the camera on my moby:

Evens are already getting a Foxy & Dune up to their Gateshead store so I can have a go on them - going to see what else they have in store too. My usual LBS is a Specialized-only shop and I really don't like the new Enduros :(

I previously had a pitch pro...And im loving my enduro even though ive not had that much chance to get out on the thing.

One thing i love about spesh is their lifetime warranty on their frames which is why i always pretty much go with them.

Heres one pic of mine i missed from my previous post:D..It really is a great bike...Go try one.

I don't like my helmet I've just bought... (Specialized Tactic Medium).. fits, just. But it looks a bit silly. That helmet actually looks okay. I need a large :/
