Nothing wrong with the tracer 2 its a fine bike, it was down to that and a nomads for me and it was close.

Did Coed Llandegla (Red) on Saturday. Was really impressed with the centre and the trail was really good. Girlfriend was with me and I was impressed at how well she did although she bottled some of th berms

Aiming to go back a week on Saturday with my mates.

Bah, i love my On-One, wouldnt get me on a FS, although your old Heckler was pretty nice to ride. Might go FS when my back cant take any more of the back breaking from the HT.

its a great place isn't it, the black is great as well.

Didn't attempt any of the black as I'm still pretty amaturish

Will have a proper go on the skills area next time and see

Will have to see how I tackle the red without my girlfrend slowing me down, don't means this negatively but I'm sure my skills will run out before my bottle. I envision a couple of spills

To be honest I find Llandegla boring - It's mostly just a smooth narrow BMX trail all the way though and aside from a few table tops there is nothing challenging to test your skills.

It would be boring if every trail were the same, some of us enjoy the easier pace of llandegla now and again.

OK, I know its been asked (and I know Itchy will come up with insane suggestions) BUT, as SS now has a new batch of Nano pedals in stock and also a price reduction as of today, what colour for my bike:

I was thinking Gunmetal which, I believe, is the middle row furthest right? or possibly even Electric Blue (bottom middle?)

Llandegla is one of those trails that would be better ridden on a short travel HT. A bit like the Marin trail. The berms were a bit repetitive but overall I thought it was ok.

Yeah fair point; a 6 inch AM bike is probably OTT.

I was just thinking that every XC race I've entered has had a far more challenging course.

Totally down to you, but I'd go with something that mixes nicely with the bike. Black, white, chrome/silver or gunmetal like you said. Blue might look a little out of place? Its quite a reserved bike colour wise.
