Here are a few pictures from work recently that I thought you might enjoy!

Yes sir you will indeed have an oil leak with that much mud in your wiper seals:

Yes sir, your bushings and stanchions are indeed buggered. That's £240 for a new CSU please:

And just for good measure, both legs are ruined:

And finally, I bought a couple of goodies for my bike:

And then went to throw the packaging away only to find that it had been occupied:

Just a very very worn chain.

Pretty much the pins wear out making the pitch longer than it should be so it doesn't sit where it should. He should get away with just a new chain and cassette but eventually is just wears the chainring into sharkfins making it useless.

I have another bike in with the chainring gubbed I'll show you tomorrow or something. People need to learn to change chains more often.

Ah right, can't say I've ever let a chain get to that point so I've not seen one do that before!

Yeah that'll be interesting to see, maybe we should start a thread of "don't let your bike get in this state" pictures :p

Free cat - no thanks Id rather have Haribo.

Cats taste better! :)

Finally got round to shortening the brake hose on my M4s last night, was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Only took me about 15mins to do it and get it all bled properly.

My Hopes are a lot easier to bleed than my Avids were!

One of the many things i like about hopes is how easy they are to maintain and mess with.

God knows why people let there forks get like that, simple spray of lube and push the forks lifts all the dirt out, quick brush and there ready for next time.

Just received some replacement Troy Lee XC gloves after the ones I got for my birthday were too small :'( (it's all good downstars I'll show ya).

They feel properly quality anyway, quite thin feeling on the palms and fingers but the stiching is good and they feel nicely made, this tallys with a lot of reviews I've read of people getting up to 5 years use out of them before they start falling apart. Should make a nice change from 661 comps which fall apart after <6 months :D

I wasn't brave though and didn't go for pink, boring black in the end (which makes sense in the UK anyway).

Holy **** - you mean to tell me that the two major brands that take up the vast majority of the market, are the two ones you see in that state most often - very surprised here! :D:D ;)

lol no, just that marzocchi in comparison are built like brick out houses and generally take a lot more bashing before they get into that state. But then they generally are quite shall we say, agricultural in their design :D

A blown cartridge in the fork and they can go like that very quickly. The same happened to my old Manitou forks.

Well my CCDB is gone and now my Covert is without shock, a very sorry state indeed!

Now I need to decide whether to save for a BOS Vip'r or go for another Monarch Plus...

Heavy, amazing performance but not necessary for the trails I ride 95% of the time, would rather save 1lb and get something that provides more or less the same performance.

May just replace it with the air version :p Oh the huge manatee.
