I went a few weeks ago. Theres 3 runs open, a blue, red and black. All are rideable on an AM bike. They just get steeper and rockier as you go round the gradings as you would expect. Very a very well run uplift. Have fun
I'm led to believe all the trails are now open, various helmet cam runs are cropping up online of the last black run. Not sure if the large drops are open yet though.
Quick summary for YorkshirePad26;
The blue trail is fast and flowy with a lot of nicely built berms, there's a few rocky features thrown in but it's nothing overly challenging.
The red is steeper than the blue with some gnarlier rock sections and small drops/jumps, the red and the blue merge together and share the last third of the trail. Seems to be the most used trail there.
The first black trail, black powder, is steeper again and has some larger rollable jumps. The rock sections are very long with rocks and boulders about as big as your head. It is a very fast and gnarly trail.
The second black, Y Du, looks to have even bigger drops and jumps and is again steeper and faster than Black powder. There are some pretty huge drops, step downs and a decent sized double towards the end of the track but it wasn't open whilst I was there.
You can easily get 10+ runs in without even trying. Helmet cam vids really don't do the place justice, the trails are physically demanding and you'll be hanging on to your bike for dear life on your last runs. Awesome place but I've been twice and on both occasions it's ****ed it down!
I'm gunna be booking it again when I get paid next week!
