It's in the steep / low geometry setting:

36.5 exactly, with steel spring and wheels containing 5 cups of stans to get the fckers to seal properly.

PS: Yes the chaindevice is gonna be changed and I need a new seatpost. The current one is 27.something with a shim in it. The shim compresses too much, so I dont want to stress the carbon too much, when tightening the seatclamp.

Looks awesome Cow, all black chain device and it will be complete.
Wish they still made the silver Deemaxes, would look good on my bike.

You went for a large right, It'll be interesting to see how you get on with it as I'm a similar height to yourself and I'm considering going for a Large frame next time around? Not quite sure what frame it'll be yet though... ;)

Its a relatively small bike, so went large.
My M Makulu is longer in the WB as this one at stock (steep/low config) and only a few 10mm shorter in the tt.

Slack and low config will be interesting though, gonna rake her out for France.

I'm very tempted to get a Ragley Big Wig frame. Only £315, so I might use it as a "blank canvas" for my first ever self build! :p
 
Cow that is very pretty! What does she ride like then?

Also I can get some XO DH carbon cranks brand new for £150, currently running Atlas FR so tempted to do it but not sure!

Don;t know yet, just had a bounce around but not ridden it yet.

Yup, also got Sixc bars for not a bad price, both products totally not needed but the price is very persuasive.
 
Just spotted them myself, very tempted at the price! One question though. Are the crank arms the same on the DH and the double chainset versions? As I prefer the dark graphics of the you can get with the double chainset version compared to the big red X on the dh version. Not fussed about the rings, just the crank arms.

Made a last minute booking at Antur Stiniog so accompanied Jimferno yesterday.
Caught a crash on video for all to see. Very poor line choice through one of the rock sections and too much front brake! These Formulas are powerful when you finally get them working properly :p

@ Cow, bike is mean! Finally some pictures to do it some justice.

@ Spud, yesterday taught me that I need to lose a bit of weight and gain a bit of fitness. Every muscle in my body is aching today and my arms fatigued way too quickly into the afternoon. Had a decent day and wasn't riding too badly considering I've not been out on the bike properly for months!
 
Spud I just had a little look, I believe that the arms and axle are the same but the double comes with a different spider to the dh ones, you can remove and change this if you want.

need some help - the bolt at the rear of my boardman fs keeps coming loose and i want to buy a spare - it is at the rear pivot between the seatstay and the chainstay. it is a male>female bolt

the outer (male) bit says M4 10.9 and takes a 4mm allen key and the inner female half it screws into takes an 8mm allen key. i don't know the name for this type of male/female screw/bolt combo so am having problems finding anything on ebay to buy

any ideas?
