Or you could wear normal shorts with some MTFU over the top if you're not a pansy.
:D i didnt realise this was a problem for people, today i was out on the bike for 4 hours with nothing more then bog standard boxers and normal chillout style shorts, as my normal riding shorts were all in the wash.
Lycra should never be seen on or around a MTB, i'm not saying dont wear it but do us all a favor never let it be shown.
regardless of its benefits, if i am out riding with someone who is wearing it, i will shout, abuse, harangue and otherwise insult you until you realise your shame, and when that shame is realised i will never let them forget.

Maybe your arse is just used to more of a pounding than others?

Err..

:p

Is it worth replacing my Full on 7050 25.4mm bars with some Truvativ stylo t30 7050 31.8mm bars?

Need to replace my stem and I'm struggling to find any decent 25.4mm ones, so thinking it would be better to just buy a new bar and 31.8mm stem, rather than messing about with shims.

Meh, anyone can go fast :/

.. ok , perhaps not

On a Danny Hart / Giant offroad team note: my mate said he had the most epic couple of weeks behind him there in Whistler with them, as the Nitro Circus crew was there with them too (you might have seen some Pastrana footage from Crankworx). I'm looking forward to hearing more about it when he gets back form Meribel! (that said, my mate's a bit of a dull peckerhead and probably didn;t get up to much :( )

Anything will be better than 25.4 bars, but as you're buying new ones - might as well buy something nice.
The Truvativ stylo is a bit yucky.

CRC has bucket loads of specials on at the moment.

Do you just mean the looks of them? They seem good bang for buck as other bars in the £35 range are 6061 rather than 7050 alu.

Was also looking at the funn fatboy bars, but all the black seem to be out of stock.

If you're looking around the £35 mark, I'd add a couple of quid to the budget and plump for these. The matching stem is nice too but pricey at £55-ish. Of course, I'm not sure what bike they're going on or if you need a longer stem..

The Truvativ Stylo T30 should do the job at £25 though, Superstar might have some cheap & cheerful stuff too. Might be worth checking Merlin & Wiggle n'all.
