Getting rid of supersize was the worst thing they did.....now everyone just eats two meals instead of a slightly bigger single one......way to go to cut the obesity epidemic....

an extra burger to go with a large meal yes, but i dont know anyone who orders 2 meals

BK everything for me. Remember a few years ago bk had those double bacon swiss burgers for £2, god i got fat.

the meals are the worst thing you can buy imo if your talking value for money.

the saver menu is the best option.

chicken mayo - 99p
medium fries - 99p
cheeseburger - 99p
dbl cheeseburger - £1.19
sundaes - 99p (toffee is heavenly)

the only thing you need to do is get a drink from elsewhere, as paying £5+ for a meal where the drink is a syrup + soda water concoction basically means your paying £5 for a burger and fries, you could get 2 chicken mayos, 2 medium fries and a double cheeseburger for the same price, if your not full after all of that, i suggest you enter a pie eating contest tbh

^^ the chicken mayo is very poor tbh, they dont even use the same mayo that they put in the McChicken sandwich, also the dbl cheeseburger has been £1.39 for at least the last several months round our way

I sometimes go to McD's for the Big Mac ye (South African voice "Big Mac"). I did notice a difference in size although possibly the ZA meats are murdered than put immediately into a burger. UK Coke is terrible essentially syrup and soda water YUK. Being a geordie not even I can stand it, not sure how you lot drink it with that sucky undertaste.

Also you don't get a special sauce in ZA per se. It's kinda like a light Mayo and tastes vile.

All known as "A double McBitch Burger hold the man relish mun".

Never had anything from the US though - maybe some day.

a lot of people that I have spoken to from the states have said the same thing. Maccys, kfc popeyes et al are right at the bottom of the food chain over there along the same lines of street vendors. Sort of like our chippies really something to eat on the go or pickup and go home. I have seen this in most places I have been in the us mainly dingy places or drive through staffed by young people or mostly Hispanics(in la) it's a staple food rather than a treat how a lot of people treat it over here. As from a size perspective I think they are the same but tend to be loads cheaper. For instance most maccys in the us on specific days or before certain times would do 2 big macs or fillet o fish for $2!!!
