Anyone got any experience of using a kriega us 10 as a tail pack for a lock carrier?
Reckon they'd be sturdy enough? Thinking that way I can always strap it to my kriega backpack for times I need more storage and not the lock.
Most decent chains come with them.Almax used to give them away with their chains apparently.
I have one for my almax 3. Definitely sturdy enough, quality is amazing compared to other tail packs, you can really see why it's so expensive. Almax used to give them away with their chains apparently. The 3 fits nicely with some room to spare.

Often, even if they don't, you can get a free one if you buy in person from a bike accessories shop. It seems like one of those things that shops get sent precisely so they can give them out to customers!
No, I meant the chain brand's own purpose-made lock carriers, designed to be hard-wearing while securing several pounds of solid metal to your back seat.pretty sure shops don't give out 50 quid kreiga bags...
you use the Us 10 or the us 5?
love kreiga stuff i have thier R30 and R20 packs
I have the US-10 for my Almax III and it fits with space to spare, you could fit a lock, disk lock and a few bits and pieces in there no problem. The 5 would be too small I think.
Length Almax 3 chain?
1.5m. By bits and pieces I mean a pair of gloves, that sort of thing. Not heaps of space left, but a convenient amount if needed.
My girlfriend named mine "The Mistress" =/
