Thanks for the help, I'll order the ebay bulb indicators and those adaptors.

BTW Its so much easier to put the cover on without the Givi rack, mirrors and that massive windscreen.

To the SV owners, what exhausts do you guys have? (That sounds so wrong :p)

Edit

Mirrors, Shorties, Indicators have been ordered. What's left on the list is: exhaust and tail tidy

I had those indicators and they where pretty good. As a pair, it's half the price of one OEM indicator it's a no brainer.

Exhaust - I liked the stubby no baffle/db killer approach. Neighbors might not agree though!

edit: front fender extender is a great addition. Stops the wheel kicking so much crap up at the engine and at £20...

I can't wait, hopefully will get the CB650F :)

Edit: There's quite a few SV's around here, tom_e, someone has a curvy SV and I swear there was one more person who still has an SV. Hmm...

What exhaust did you have?

This place is the reason I ended up with one, I was all set on the ER6F before hand.

I picked up some Nikwax visor proof the other day just to give it a try and just by luck the first time I've had the bike out since it was peeing down all the way to work.

It works really well, even at 30 if you turn your head the water runs off normally it won't go anyway until I'm doing over 50 and it seemed to keep the water in bigger beads in general so you don't get that complete misting over when the rain is lighter.

Same here, my mates also said to go for SV650 as I won't have a chance to experience the V-Twin for a while. Hopefully this bike will serve me well, I don't fancy a reply of constant breakdowns with KTM... :(

What exhaust do you have tom_e?

BTW The weather compared to yesterday and the day before is crap... been raining since morning.

i would have had a SV650 too if it wasn't for the seller not messing me around....

must have been fate, saw the hornet and went for it :)

I've got a Scorpion Serket CF one on at the minute.

I think I missed that part, what happened?

I like hornets, I've always like nakeds with a round headlight and round speedo's. But the bikes that caught my attention the most, were supersports/bikes.
Not sure there's much point for a Sport on the road as you won't really use that power, but I still want a GSXR 750 K8. :p

I was thinking about Delkevic

Not sure which one, I don't want it too loud. I'm planning on doing longer trips. constant loud buzzing from the exhaust will get tiring on higher speed cruises. But I also want to be heard by car drivers, when I revv'd the KTM people moved and made me way whilst filtering. :D

@Kreeeee, Do you have any pics of your SV?

Trust that to happen,it was in good condition, I've always liked the sound of them esp with the right can on,and the two strip rear lights, looks mean

Looks lovely and clean I'd love a ride on one to see what they are like

We can swap for a short ride if you want, I don't mind. When I had a 125, anyone who suggested it or replied saying yes... we swapped. We would only use 'private' roads. :D You'll have to wait till May, that's if I actually pass...

Cheap ebay winter gloves, sweaty hands guaranteed :p

Edit
It was perfect until some **** Audi TT driver rammed me at a set of red lights and wrote it off.

You'd love it wazza, it's all torque and great fun and legal speeds.
It's always the Audi drivers... they think they own the road..

after a few days of chatting about the said bike, I asked the seller on the Tuesday to send me more pics of his SV, i was getting ready to go see him (200 miles away) on the following Saturday so wanted to make sure the bike was what i wanted

he did not reply until the Saturday morning after countless amounts of emails to him asking for the pics, by this time i had already made arrangements to see the hornet which i bought,

makes me laugh about some sellers, they want to sell their bikes but half heartedly reply with info or not bother replying at all. Adverts are very vague, 2 liners at most, waste of time!

That sucks... I know what you mean with the seller not caring, been there.

Type in YouTube: 'Suzuki SV650s, Comparison of Stock and Delkevic 225mm Stubby Exhausts.' "Fiore it oup" :D

Edit: How much would it cost to have a belly pan painted? I badly want a belly pan for my SV.

For the exhaust I narrowed it down to:
