I'm toying with flogging the Speed Triple in the New Year, been eyeing up the Yamaha XSR900 - looks pretty stunning in the blue, and seems like quite a lot of bike for the money to me. Part of me keeps thinking back to the S1000R and all the fun I had on that, but if I went back to that stable, it'll have to be the newer style one, but they're quite pricey.

Who knows though - with the broken collar bone, I've not really been able to ride how I normally would, so come next season I will hopefully be plated back together and healed; so might bond with her then

XSR 900 is a brilliant bike for the money (so long as you can stomach the gold forks and the not very bright headlight). Really enjoyed riding it ...though ended up with a street triple instead!

@Scort Did you ever had to adjust the screws for that Pinlock on your HJC RPHA 70? I had removed and reapplied the Pinlock on mine 3 times but I still got a bit of fogging on my way back from work. This was at 30 mph and low speeds and at night. It was fine all day.

The only difference being I had the top event open in the morning and had it closed at night.

P.S. - This is a a question to all. I just tagged Scort as he had the same helmet. :)
I am wondering if Pinlocks are not 100% fog proof and they do need some air circulation.

Foggy mask all the way! Never used pinlock after first trying it back in 2008 (iirc), as I wear glasses and it was pointless if my bins were already fogged up
