Go for the angel tyres IMO,they last forever and you can throw it around in the dry, they offer good wet weather grip aswell

Me personally, I wouldn't buy any other tyre atm

Love the angels too.

The bt21 on the bikr atm i hate but theyre so near brand new that i dont want ro change them.

Whent he rear is worn ill swap them both for angels though

Angels in the wet are just so confidence inspiring.

But infind they square off fairlynquick with heavy motorway uae

Angel GT's for year round commuting - awesome tyres.

If I'm not commuting though, just doing weekend/summer use inc. touring I'd go for a set of the new Rosso III's.

New mirrors are coming off as soon as I get home, no amount of adjustment is getting me anything more than shoulders and elbows.
Oh well, I think I'll plastikote my stock ones so they're black again rather than greyish that should make them look a little better at least.

Just typical, get my bike and and my gear out, starts raining, hold off for 10 minutes until it clears, it doesn't and it's now turned to hail :p

I went for a longer ride out yesterday and got some footage. I'm still running the bike in, but had fun.

I really need to get some new mirrors, I can't position the current ones in a way which makes them useful, so I have to keep moving my head about to see behind me.

I also need earplugs(!) I decided to take some A roads and the Motorway back to Brum, and the wind noise screwed my ears up for the rest of the day.

i use this mate: http://www.halfords.com/motoring/en.../halfords-oat-ready-mixed-antifreeze-2-litres

no issues and is silicate free which is what is needed

"We now put Bitrex in our screenwash and antifreeze products, to help protect your family. Officially the world's most bitter substance, just a tiny amount of Bitrex makes our products extremely unpalatable - and therefore safer - by helping prevent your children and pets from accidentally swallowing something they shouldn't."

That just makes me want to taste it to find out just how bitter the most bitter substance on the planet is!

You could just get evans waterless coolant. Much better apparently. Designed to last 20 years and has better cooling performance, plus isn't nasty stuff like normal coolant.

Went out on my bike for the first time yesturday after passing on Friday. Wow what a buzz. Obviously I took it easy but couldn't help give it some beans on the straight. Now I'm working away until Friday night and a wedding Saturday but hopefully I can get out sat morning :D

What he said.

If you can justify the price that it costs along with the initial bit of hassle to get all the old coolant out then it's well worth it.
I know a couple of people who use it in their cars and they won't touch regular stuff now.

You've got to mess about prepping the system and things iirc if you've used standard coolant in the past though so you're looking at 4 or 5 times the cost of just flushing and filling with standard stuff.
