You arms don't have to be strong, its you legs to stay on the bike. Let the bike correct itself, don't fight with it as it'll do no good. :p

Lots of reasons can impact the front going light causing a 'tank slapper', I'm not the most experienced on here. Better to ask someone else :p

But if you were accelerating hard and the front went light and you went over a pothole with your front. That could have caused the wobble, I'm no expert though so take that possibility with a pinch of salt. :p

That's probably the cheapest it'll go?

I've officially had my first "oh crap" moment. Now I'm not sure if this was down to my arms being a bit weak post-gym as I wasn't going *that* no faster than 80/90 at most but as I was letting her go high in revs the front end went super wobbly so I eased off half sqeaky bum time half laughing.

Odd because I know that's never happened before and I've definitely gone faster. Could've went nasty lol

Throttle out of it, easing off usually makes it worse depending on the severity :D and its nothing to do with your arms, I take it your bike doesn't have a steering damper? it doesn't take much when the front end goes light to make the front end shake, specially if its a bike with clip ons.

Anyone ever been pulled for having a 7x5 plate?

I've pulled the monstrous black thing off the back of my bike (sadly, no official tail tidy yet), but the plate looks huge. I was thinking of reducing its size, but not sure if that's asking for trouble - esp as I've got a akro in the post. Small plate + aftermarket exhaust seem to factors in getting pulled over / fined.

No issue here. Go for 7x5! :D they look so much better.

Was even sat with the police when the motorway was closed the other day and they didn't even question it.

As long as it isn't at a retarded angle or stupidly small writing, it'll be fine.

Like with a lot of these things as long as you don't take the pee, ride like a complete penis or act like a total ****** if they do pull you for something then they won't waste their time.

Exceptions like at biking hotspots in the summer where they'll sit in a layby and pull everything do happen though.

So long as the numbers/letters are the correct size the plate can be smaller I think - but so long as it's not taking the pee you'll be ok.

You can't fit the proper letter sizing in 7x5, it will be slightly smaller, but that's fine. Or is it the spacing that's important? I don't know, didn't really look in to it and it's not a problem :p

Characters must be 79mm tall

Characters (except the number 1 or letter I) must be
50mm wide

The character stroke (the thickness of the black print)
must be 14mm

The space between characters must be 11mm

The space between the age identifier and the random
letters must be 33mm

The margins at the top, bottom and side of the plate
must be 11mm

Vertical space between the age identifier and the
random numbers must be 19mm

The actual plate can be any size you wish as long as it meets those criteria and unless it's a classic plate it needs to be over 2 lines if registered after sept 2001 or 3 if before that.
