I fancy giving a stubby exhaust a go on my SV and I remembered I've got the MTC end can that came with the bike sat in the shed so I think I'm going to save some cash over buying one and just make a mess of that instead.

Just off to pick up my new project. 1nr 350 lc. Someone's going to rebuild it for me and stan Stevens is going to rebuild the engine. It's already a standard Stevens 375.

Pics later :)

Is that a 2T engine? If so, they're fairly easy to rebuild. Although, I've only done a BWS50 engine rebuild a really long time ago. :p

Thinking I should get a cam. In my mind the best way to do this is to have a top of helmet point as this should mean the dash is out of view.

What are peoples thoughts?

Also what equipment is recommended? On a budget atm - This is for crash fault proof not vlogging

Take a look at the Xaomi Yi, great little camera.

Had to top up oil in my SV again... it was around half way on the little glass. I probably did around 800-1000 miles since last top up of oil...

Found a nice quiet private road and did a little practise. Only 30 min before someone came, so I had to go. :/ Its a good spot though, industrial area in the middle of nowhere.

Its a lot easier to do it on the SV, than it was on my KTM. Twist a bit so forks go out, close the throttle to get the forks to compress and twist around 50% boom front goes up. :D

I need to find a different place anyways, not an easy thing to do. The search continues, I can't do proper wheelies on the SV anyways, just little power wheelies as I'll F the engine up. :(

Anyone sucessfully claimed off the council for oil on the road?

10-15mph round this left hand bend, and yep, you guessed it. Dropped it :mad:

Another guy on a triumph tiger sport nearly came off 5 minutes later too, he had a major wobble.

Headlight, clock casing, bent gear lever, and ****ed kevlar jeans (hole in the knee). If they want proof of oil on the road they can take one look at the black smear all down the left side of my jeans.

I'll be ringing up the council at 9am (lazy fekkers) to report it so I've got a record.

No chance unless you can prove it's already been reported and they did nothing about it, same as potholes.
