Tuono is like a sexy sensual latin girl with nice curves, whilst MT-10 reminds me of german Helga that's butch af. :p

You know, you want the Tuono Kreeeee

I've never seen another Speed Triple with the new headlights on the road, so I'm happy with that :p

Plenty of Streets round here.

I've seen two just on our route we call the TT, white ones too. :p

Edit: Plenty over at Ace cafe, anytime you go, there's always a speed there. :p

Managed to melt the side of my textiles on my exhaust yesterday :( Must have leaned against the bike when getting it into the garden.

I've just ordered some spinnaker repair tape to seal the holes up. Seems like it should do the job!

Sometimes I wish there was a way to educate people who don't know how to drive.

This morning I learnt that apparently merge in turn means whether I'm alongside them in the left hand lane they're coming in anyway and when I blipped the throttle to get past before they pushed me into the verge they had the cheek to flash me.

A quick rearward salute was issued but it just doesn't feel like enough sometimes!

That's why gloves have reinforced knuckle areas.. ;)

Tbh, I wouldn't have the balls to do that - a guy at work did earlier in the year. Some guy nearly knocked him off, so he punched his mirror off and rode away ahah :D not that I'd ever condone such actions.

To be honest I'm very laid back so unless they've done some really really stupid where it's obvious they knew exactly what they were doing it doesn't even register with my temper.

It's just irritating that they obviously thought they were totally in the right trying to squeeze in and will continue to think that, when it's completely incorrect to just assume people in the left should make way for them coming across when they see fit. Your lane is ending so sit and wait if you have to!

I agree with you. This is one of the things that annoy me in the car. Other cars will try and cut a queue by going in the lane to the left or right, trying to barge in at the last second. Pretty much forcing their bumper in. I just move close as possible to the car in front - but sadly, not an option on the bike.

Think I'll buy an led headlight bulb for the CB400, there's a section I have to filter though every day, 2 lanes of near stationary traffic, this morning some numpty decides to change lanes when I'm level with his tail light, no indicator, no mirror, no gap in the other lane to give me an idea he might be changing lanes  managed to swerve his front end, luckily he'd only moved a couple of feet by the time I was passed him. Stopped and gave him some of my anger!! :p

On this section I've noticed the tuono gets cars moving out the way more (twin headlights and bassy exhaust) and the same if I put the CB400 onto high beam headlight, so I think an LED bulb will help a lot. TBH that's the first time someone has changed lanes on me in a long time so its not a regular occurrence.

They definitely help, it's rare I get people absentmindedly pulling out on my when I'm filtering. Just being a knob and deciding they're going to try anyway is a different matter :D

Does anyone change their tyres for winter tyres? I'm considering getting some Dunlop road smart, to fit them for the miserable weather ahead.

Not sure if it'll be a waste of money, or will make the winter commute more fun.

I have a stretch I filter down towards the M27. I use high beam while filtering and a high gear for that. It just feels like anything less and I'm taking a chance

I always stick in a slightly lower than normal gear when filtering, more noise and the engine braking will bring me to a stop pretty swiftly if I roll off the throttle.

I normally filter in 2nd as it's only 1 gear to drop down if I have to stop and also like Tom said, the engine breaking is quicker too.

Yeah I wasn't going fast, I stopped in about half a car length once I'd realised what he was doing.

Just need to say '**** 'em' and stick my high beams on for that bit :D
