Bikers Youtube thread

But it's so ugly :(

Granted, it's no 899, but the Pikes peak model with the short screen, forged wheels and carbon is still pretty nice, in my book

Compared to the other adventure sports bikes and it's the best looking (or maybe the only good loking one!), IMO :p

The 2015 Multistrada is a nice evolution of looks - more rounded and polished. Certainly makes my XR look angular and more industrial. The 2013 model is a bit marmite though, for sure.

I record every commute ;) But the wind noise is too much really, need to get a separate recorder to enjoy the proper vtec noise :D

Are you using the waterproof case?

Could you send a link to your YouTube channel? I remember you sent it before, but can't find it... :(

Yeah I am, I basically record all the time in case anything happens, normally it's nothing more than the usual useless driver stuff, nothing serious or interesting.

I'll re-do this one with the Yi once the weather is better.

I'll put up any decent vids on this channel

I've seen this before, that guy talks waaaaaaay too much, I want to hear the exhaust not his annoying voice.

BTW The wind is pretty bad, is that with a waterproof case? Maybe try the ducktape mic fix? Oh yeah, there's a firmware 35mbps and some scripts online for better image quality. I've already flashed mine, I just need to put the scripts on all of my SD cards. :p The firmware makes a massive difference with 35mbps.

Yeah that's with the waterproof case, chin mounted so zero wind protection. I did try it in my rucksack, out of the waterproof case and wrapped in a jumper (mic not covered) and lets just say the poor little thing couldn't handle the noise! It was completely distorted and blown out once the VTEC kicked in, unusable. I did use it on a tank sucker mount but then it just got really bad vibrations through the bike and wasn't much better.

I've not seen the duct tape fix, what's that?

That fix wouldn't solve your issue, its removing the tape not applying it. My bad...

I'll try to find some vids, where I'm pushing the little duke to 70+. What kind of speeds were you doing on this vid, roughly?
