Bikers Youtube thread

It's not really about being holier than thou. It's just that as bikers we should be more risk aware, we're constantly asking ourselves "what if" when we're riding. We should always ride with an 'escape plan' should the worse happen (Police riders handbook).

I don't think you'd be too pleased if your kid ran out from behind a parked car and some guy doing a rubik's cube on his motorcycle hit them...

not entirely related but since you mention police, this kinda thing happened to a police motorcyclist in America, kid ran out officer locked up and binned the bike, bike slid into and killed the child, father of child ran out found dead child proceeded to thump the police officer so the police officer shot and killed the father.

Idiotic driver obviously, but what were the two morons on the bike doing wearing no gear especially when doing things like illegal overtakes?

Wow, and all he could say was "I don't care". Not sure I could have stayed so calm with the guy after seeing him purposely knock a friend/family off...

I guess it was silly wearing no kit, and I'm sure they will have learnt their lesson without everyone lecturing them, but what that driver did is inexcusable and nullifies the kit argument!

William Crum faces two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, which is a second-degree felony, for his involvement in the motorcycle wreck

While states differ on whether they include a sentencing range or only a maximum sentence for second degree felonies, most states have a presumptive punishment of up to 10 to 15 years in prison. For example, Ohio includes a ceiling of no more than 9 years in prison, while Pennsylvania has a maximum penalty for second degree felonies of 10 years in prison. The presumptive sentence in Texas can be a bit more severe, ranging from 2 to 20 years in prison. All states also include fines, which may or may not be handed out by a judge issuing a sentence for second degree felony. The fines are closely bunched in all states – $10,000 to $20,000 – with the exception of New Jersey. There, the fine can be as high as $150,000 for a second degree felony.

Wow bet he is going to regret doing that. They sure don't mess around in the USA!

Americans. "I don't care"

That driver would have been out cold on the floor if that was me and he did that/said that. Not bothered if he's in his 60's. Belligerent, idiotic excuse for a person. It may have been an illegal overtake but he has zero right to take the law into his own hands.

I probably would have dragged his face along the road if that happened to a family member, 'i don't care' well he sure will when he gets sent away!

What gets me the most is it wasn't his decision to make, its not his right to enforce a law.

I would have been vary wary of somebody like that who is obviously not all there. It is Texas after all, they could have an AR15/AK in their car for all you know. :(

Rear view with my DBPOWER camera from today when I was trying my new tyres:

One of the blue trucks I overtook at the start for some reason pulled out onto the other lane just as I was about to pass, hence why I stayed in that lane for so long!

Looks like Germany has some nice twisty roads, my dad's friend goes to Harz in Germany with his mates. Showed some footage, some nice bends there! :D
