Bikers Youtube thread

If it's anything like it was for a couple of days here in the summer, 35+ degrees, felt like riding into a hair dryer. The air was so warm it wasn't cooling you.

That was horrible to ride in.

The humidity kills you here, sitting at a light in 95f with 80% humidity with a hot bike below you and 120f asphalt... not very nice

I've never heard anyone go on about the temperature as much as you.

You can't mean 44c in Switzerland because.. well... it doesn't get anywhere near that there.. ever.

You guys do make me laugh, trying to tell me how hot it is where I live :p

A nice thing about living in Switzerland is that you have all of Europe to explore. It was 44C in Italy when I visited this summer, although that was during a mini heatwave they were having I was still in full mesh gear.

I know these things aren't accurate, but here's a sign showing 38C near home, so it's not like my summers are cold here either.

Edit: I was in Veneto, Italy, in June. Have a gander at the temperature: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_extreme_temperatures_in_Italy.

Not that I have to explain myself to you, and likewise you can do what you want with your life, I just wish you luck.

I'm in agreement. Anything over 30c is "hot as balls" and in the land of swiss it's frequently higher than that in the summer!! Also, given the geography and it's micro climates, it's hard to predict and forecast.

There's plenty of "breathable" armour and gear and such out there, and if it's still too hot, i personally wouldn't risk going out there. So again from me, i wish you luck in your t-shirts, it's your skin.

You're telling me it's hard to predict!

I know it another one of my videos, but I got pee'd on when going up the mountains to cool down mid summer :(

Also, it was a bit of a change going from a 1 piece leather I wore religiously in the UK to being here, it's rare to see anyone in gear. Been wearing my Alpinestars jacket recently as it's cooled down. I agree with gear completely, just passing out from dehydration on a ride isn't going to be much fun
